The Cook Islands surely belong to one of the most beautiful pieces of land in our world. The longer you stay, the more paradise atmosphere you soak in. Somewhere in the Central-Southern Pacific Ocean you will find 15 little islands. "The secret of the Pacific" is not only the slogan of the national tourism agency but also reality. The main island, Rarotonga, is the biggest island. The most beautiful one is located just north of "Raro": Aitutaki.
Feeling peace for body and soul: Aitutaki welcomes every visitor with a guarantee of isolation and beauty. Green palm trees, snow white sand and sparkling blue water form a feast for the eyes.
Aitutaki is said to be most beautiful lagoon in the world, and the second most visited island of the Cooks. Just over 2,000 people call it home - and mass tourism still stays away. Coming by plane from Rarotonga, the Cooks' biggest island, is the fastest way and allows stunning views over the atoll.
